Edward has lived in Derbyshire for most of his life and now resides in the constituency of West Ripley and Crich. Coming from a business background, he has seen firsthand how efficiency and good management can deliver better results at a lower cost—something he believes is sorely lacking in local government. He is deeply concerned about how councils are run, the wasteful spending, and the ever-increasing burden of Council Tax on residents.
Edward is particularly passionate about improving Derbyshire’s infrastructure, including tackling the ongoing issues of potholes, road maintenance, and landslips, which have been neglected for too long. He believes that with better management and accountability, councils can provide high-quality services while ensuring better value for taxpayers.
